Jim’s high-energy, humorous and heartfelt tales bring parents and children together for an evening of memorable storytelling in the warmth of a school environment.

Jim grew up in a family of nine listening to stories at the dinner table, in family gatherings, in the car and before bed. Parents, relatives, neighbors and friends all spun their yarns to amuse, confound and brighten the spirit of the children. Jim soon found himself taking an active role in the family ‘dialogue’ with his own tales. His language skills soared as did his comprehension. Jim has been hooked by this language-rich lore ever since.

Engaging, interactive, filled with lessons of life, the program encourages family storytelling as a lifelong activity and complements all themes for bringing the school community together.

The presentation usually runs 45 minutes to one hour depending on school needs.
